Our St. Patrick's Day...

We were definitely thinking GREEN for St. Patty's Day on Sunday...

We did our normal routine of Church first thing.... and took a little time to snap a few quick shots of our fam all decked out in our GREEN!

Since it was so gorgeous outside... per request of the girlies... we stopped by our favorite BIG slide park... sometimes our sweet little play structure at home just isn't enough! Most of the time it is, but there are days when the park sounds a wee bit better...

After park time... we all worked up an appetite and grabbed some lunch!

Then, when we returned home... we continued to enjoy the no-rain day and did a lot more playing in our backyard before dinner time. Ellie even captured a photo of Daddy and Mommy... something we don't get very often since one of us is usually the one taking the pictures. It's so nice that the girlies are now old enough to take pictures for us... and the bonus is... they even WANT to! :)

We chowed down on homemade Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes and Sweet Corn. It was de-lish! And a great way to end our St. Patty's Day!

Doesn't it just make you melt?

I can hardly contain myself. I am beyond thrilled. I am feeling every emotion as if it were happening to Travis and myself all over again. I am so excited to be an Aunt. And I feel so privileged to be a part of this amazing journey Kyle and Emmy are embarking on. Life is such a blessing. And babies are such miracles. I can not wait to meet this sweet little wee one that will soon bless all of our lives in just a few short months from now.

We can finally shout it from the roof top!

We are happy to announce that my brother Kyle and his beautiful wife Emmy are expecting their very own sweet little baby... Due in September! :)

Here's the first glimpse of their little peanut! Brings tears to my eyes!!! :)

Book Character Day

Today is dress like a book character day at school...

Sure we could've gone for the "Thing 1 and Thing 2" theme...

But we went another route.

My Girlies chose one of their faves at the moment. Pinkalicious! We love these books. They can even read these series of books, which makes this Mama very happy. :) We don't have Purplicious yet, but Ellie decided she still wanted to go as Purplicious, so that's exactly what she did!
