Our Kiddos the Super-Heros!!!
Our church hosted their annual Harvest Party on Friday night... so it was the perfect excuse to let out our super-hero alter egos for the evening. :) Batman, Catwoman, Superman and Wonder Woman were all super awesome kiddos at the party... I went solo with them since Daddy had a football game... and even though we missed him tremendously, we had a blast!
Next up... Trick or Treating!!! Excited to celebrate Halloween with our Super-Hero foursome! They sure are SUPER, that's for sure! Love them. :)

Our Pumpkin Patch
Pumpkin Patch time at Northern Lights Farm...
Each October we make our way to our favorite Pumpkin Patch(s) and yes we visit them more than once, more than twice and even more than three times each season. It's so much fun and such a great excuse to get outdoors and enjoy the awesome fall weather we are so lucky to have here in Oregon. There is no other place I'd rather be.
Our little guy calls them pun-kins. Littlest calls them back-et balls. And the little batch we have that decorates our entry way is now known as "Our pun-kin patch." We love it. It reminds us that they are still so little and still so cute in so many ways.
These are memories to last a life time. And making memories with our four little munchkins is truly Heaven on Earth for this Momma and Dadda.
Our littles are ready for a pretty SUPER filled Halloween. Our theme is pretty SUPER too! We've always wanted to do family themed costumes... and so this year we are going all out!!! It's going to be REALLY SUPER! Stay tuned! :)

Kiddos New Bedroom Updates!
New season, brings new changes for our little family. I don't know what it is, but every time the seasons change... I feel the need to change something in our home.
This fall weather has helped give me time to organize, donate old unused items and redecorate some rooms in our house... it's been a fun adventure for me and something to feed my passion for DIY and decorating!
Just a few short months ago we graduated our girlies to bunk beds...
This fall weather has helped give me time to organize, donate old unused items and redecorate some rooms in our house... it's been a fun adventure for me and something to feed my passion for DIY and decorating!
Just a few short months ago we graduated our girlies to bunk beds...
But we had better plans for the black bunk bed, so... we found a new bunk bed for the girls that seemed even more perfect for them than the one before. Here is the after...
When sisters first got bunk beds in their room, little man had been asking to get a bunk bed for his room that he shares with his little brother. But since littlest man is not quite ready to sleep on a bunk bed... Hubs and I had to come up with a better plan for the time being. This is what the boys room looked like before...
It was definitely time for a big change! Good bye crib, good bye toddler bed. Hello big boy beds! We decided to take apart sisters' bunk bed and give it a new home in the boys' room. Here is the after...
We are ALL absolutely pleased with the outcome of the kiddos bedroom updates. We had so much fun organizing their rooms, finding new creative ways to store important things... like toys... here is one of my favorite projects in the boys' room...
I love these old soda crates... I have several sitting around our place... Our boys LOVE playing here!
My other favorite project was adding a book shelf near the kiddos beds for story time or for quiet time. We LOVE reading stories... so this was just another good excuse to encourage our kiddos to explore all of their books with lots of reading!

So many blessings... Happy Fall!!!
Happy Fall! It's October! And just because it's fall... doesn't mean our family check list is just for summer time anymore... we've decided to make a check list for every season! Our kiddos LOVE it and look forward to checking off our to-do list with every exciting adventure awaiting us...
Our lives have been so full of blessings... we are so grateful and so humbled by all of the greatness that we have witnessed and been a part of lately. We love watching our kiddos make-believe and play together... such a neat part of childhood.
Our family has been blessed with a new little bundle of joy... she is so precious and wonderful just like her Mommy and Daddy. Her cousins adore everything about her. And so do we!
School is going great. Minds are growing and learning and thriving. So wonderful and exciting. Still hard to believe our sweet girls are big first graders. We are so proud of them.
While sisters are away... the boys and I play! Well, after our daily "to-do" lists are checked and done... we take a little time to play and have fun! I miss my girls... but I am loving this special time with my boys too. Bitter, sweet.
Football season is upon us. We are not only enjoying watching our Oregon Ducks win the Day... but are enjoying watching my man coach his Pleasant Hill Billies in another awesome football season. Love that about Fall season!
Weekends are just as busy as weekdays. But we love it. We not only attend our Church as listeners, but attend our Church as Leaders now. My hubs and I happily lead the Children's Ministry a few times a month... hubs is in charge of Funday Sunday in the gym and I am happily in charge of the sweet five year old group! Been loving every minute! And so have our kiddos. They look forward to Sunday mornings attending church... worshiping, spending time with wonderful friends and enjoying the love that surrounds us. A few weeks ago our little family had the opportunity of being featured in the welcome brochure... a super fun momento to scrapbook for our kiddos.
I feel so privileged because once a week... with my little guys in tow... I have the opportunity to be a part of a wonderful group called Moms Equipped... I share my leadership as the designated Welcome Greeter of the group... I love it and am so excited to spend a few hours a week with some amazing Women/ Moms. So much to smile about, that's for sure!
And as our world keeps turning... life keeps going and going... and although things seem very dim in parts of our world unfortunately... we are doing our best to shield our kiddos from the ugly and help them focus on the beauty in our lives. We count our blessings, are so very thankful for each other and the many wonderful good that still exists in this world.
