Like said before... we find any excuse to celebrate.
Life is too short. Our world is full of unfortunate circumstances, situations and negativity. If for a brief moment we can find some excuse to celebrate... we celebrate. And we celebrate without apology. It doesn't have to cost a lot, if anything. But it's worth a million just to see the smiles on my kids faces.
I found cheap-o decorations at the dollar bin at Target... shamrock swirls, napkins, shamrock straws, and green mustaches.
I also found a sweet Irish blessing on-line to read before dinner time as our prayer. The kiddos loved it. Our dinner was less than Irish... but it was delish! And, it was also our first time using our BBQ for the season... yummy steaks, roasted potatoes and grilled asparagus.
After dinner... two little Leprechauns appeared. Must say... they were the cutest Leprechauns we'd ever seen!
