But it is part of life and I'm learning to deal with it all and take it in stride.
Ellie has been asking for the last six months to get her ears pierced. I knew this day would come. It's the sole reason why we opted not to get it done when they were infants. We wanted them to choose. Not us. And the day had arrived. She made a big girl decision. I know it seems like I'm over reacting. But these are my girls, I'm talking about. When I look at them, I still see my little babies. My first borns!
So today. After much thought. And lots of talking about what was going to happen in the ear piercing department... My little Ell got her ears pierced!
Kenzie opted out this time. And that's ok. We want her to decide the right time to pierce or not to pierce. :)
