This is the year I turned 32.

My munchkins and I… happy Mama |
My Hubs and I have celebrated 12 years of birthdays together. (Including the year we started dating). And after celebrating 12 years of birthdays together I still get flowers from him (please, don't ever stop) I still get birthday themed wrapped gifts, not Christmas themed wrapped gifts (a mandatory obligation my Mom started when I was born that my Hubs has taken very seriously for the last 12 years. So sweet.) Every year my crew (Hubs & munchkins) never cease to amaze me. And every year I opt and plead to keep my birthday short and sweet. And every year, it's inevitable, I never get my way. Ever.

This year they made me breakfast in bed. Although the "in bed" part didn't quite pan out as they had planned, because yours truly didn't follow the rules and got out of bed. Oops. But it was still wonderful and yummy and so very thoughtful. They adorned me with homemade birthday cards from each of them. I cried. Just as I do every year. They each gave me special gifts they helped pick out or made themselves. Again, I cried.

Ho! Ho! Ho! from the munchkins |
We went shopping and walked around my favorite shopping center, enjoyed lunch, had a impromptu photo shoot and ended my birthday day with a dinner with family and friends at my munchkin's restaurant pick, the "Red Crab" (aka: Red Lobster).

Hubs and I. 12 years of celebrating birthdays together. |
It was a wonderful birthday. The most wonderful part of it all is the people who I share this life with. Who I call family. They are the ones that make days like birthdays, wonderful.

Cheers to Thirty Two! |
